Norbury Hill Cubs Nursery is situated on Norbury Hill close to Norbury Station and local amenities

We’ve been part of Norbury Hill since 2007 — in fact, it’s the home Sara grew up in. The home-from-home ethos isn’t a tagline here. It’s literally true.

In that time, we’ve watched babies become school-ready children, welcomed younger siblings, and become a genuine part of families’ lives. Some of those babies have even come back to join us as apprentices. That’s not something we take lightly.

Sara and Sak run Norbury Hill Cubs together — Sara bringing 18+ years of early years expertise and EYTS, Sak leading on the wellbeing and relationships that make this place feel different. Between them, they know most families personally. That’s the point.

We take up to 35 children per session. Small by design. Every child here is genuinely known — their quirks, their interests, what makes them light up, what they find hard. Our team has been with us for years, and that stability shows. Children feel safe. Families feel at home.

Learning is child-led and unhurried, inspired by Reggio Emilia and Montessori. Meals are freshly cooked on-site every day. Parents stay connected through Babysdays and our Tuesday Connect sessions — because we think the relationship between nursery and family matters as much as anything else.

Norbury Hill Cubs Nursery is everything we could imagine and more. Our son joined over a year ago (at 1y) we have been so pleased and proud to be part of such a wonderful community and for him to have such an amazing experience day in and out. The team are so supportive, take part in continuous CPD and extra training e.g. NELI scheme. They do everything with such passion to ensure the children have fun and exposure to learning directly and indirectly, variety of fresh home cooked food, extra classes such as dance, yoga, local visits e.g. the park or library in groups, celebrations for Holi, Diwali, Eid, endless enriching experiences with NHC family! The team and values at NHC made the transition feel so natural and instant! We receive regular daily updates and photos and can reach out any time, 2 parents meetings and year, opportunities to join in with celebrations such as monthly birthday celebrations for children, sports day, Christmas, annual group days out (with families).
